I use Brave. It automatically blocks all ads, including YouTube midroll ads, and has extensive privacy features. I would advise you don't use Google Chrome. Look up some information about the privacy concerns involving it.

I'll have to definitely have a look at brave. I like the idea of it blocking the ads
